LG V30! The best LG has to offer right now!

What more can I say, I like it.

I’ve had the LG V30 for a bit now, and I must say I’m super impressed.  I can’t stress enough that there is so much to like about this phone, that I can’t really put it into words at times. But I’ll try.

Let me give you a quick spec run down, and I’ll be touching on the high points for me.

  • 6 inch P-OLED display
  • Snapdragon 835 Processor
  • 4GB RAM 64GB Storage w/SD Card support
  • Waterproofing
  • Headphone Jack
  • Type C USB
  • Slim body, super small frame
  • Glass back, sleek looks
  • Dual cameras, with f1.6 on the rear
  • Fingerprint reader (rear mount)
  • Android 7.1.1

I could go on about specs, but they only mean so much.  Let’s talk about what I got this phone for, the cameras.  I love LG cameras, and this phone follows up right where all the others left off.  The front camera, is not very good…but it can still be used for some things.  Outdoor shots with the front camera are much better than indoor, however that’s the only strong point for it from my testing.   When I first tested the front camera, it seemed off as it did not take good photos at all.  I adjusted the front up to 5mp (that’s the top), and it cleared up okay.  But nothing to get excited about.  (See photo) frontrear

The rear camera is flat out amazing, and works well outdoors as well.  Indoor low light are not so great, but still do very well when using manual mode.

The photo is before I changed the settings, but it got much better afterwards.

I like that I was able to grab some good shot outside, and really showcase what this phone do.  (See video at the bottom of this post.)

Aside from the great rear camera, this phone is actually really good.  The body is nice, the design is sleek.  It goes in to any pocket, or purse.  It’s super small, and they did a good job packing in the a big screen. It so beautiful, regardless of what I’ve heard online about it.  I think it’s great, and I am not having any issues at this point.  If you were to get this LG V30, you should be more than happy with the  display.

Battery on this phone is nothing short of good, as it stands next to others with the same specs.  It’s gonna last you a full day, or longer depending on how you use your phone.  5 to 6 hours of screen on time is what I’ve been able to grab from this phone, and that is pretty good.  As it has a 3300mAh battery inside.

Bottom line, this is a great addition to the new LG V series, and it’s the best that I’ve used from LG at this point.  Video at the break.
