$800 MacBook 2017 VS $3000 MacBook Pro 2019

So a while back, I bought the new 2019 MacBook Pro and it was good. Buy then…

I realized it wasn’t for me, and I knew it within 3 days of having it. I use my computer or laptop for eating YouTube, and that’s one of the reasons I like Macs in general. The software is great, and nothing compares for me.

I have 4 other laptops, 3 windows 10 and 1 Chromebook. I like them all, but I just can’t pull myself to edit on them. I ended up getting rid of the MacBook Pro 15.4 inch that I just wasted $3000 on, and grabbed a 2017 MacBook 12 inch. I never thought I would say this, but it’s truly worth it to have and edit on the Core M3!

I found that rendering times were the same just about, with the 12 inch moving 4k video just a little bit slower. The 15 inch got really hot under load, and the fans were ridiculously loud.

On the 12 inch MacBook, nothing like that. It’s hot great battery life and had no fans to now loudly. I found that I really enjoy the small size, but the performance for me is the same.

So for the work, if you want to call it that, on YouTube in good with the 12 in h MacBook with the core M3. Now to be fair, I do have a 27 inch 5k iMac if I really need some desktop power. But I’m tired of being locked down to a desk if I don’t have to. Both videos at the break…
